*Brisket was left to thaw out overnight in the refrigerator.
*Heat oven to 275 Degrees
While oven is heating
*Score the back side of the meat.
This lets the fat render while cooking.
*Rub olive oil over the meat to allow the spices to adhere better.
*A secret rub of onion powder, paprika, KC bbq dry rub, sweet heat bbq dry rub - covered both sides of the brisket
*Place on baking sheet
*Place in hot oven for three hours (Depends on weight of meat)
*When the desired temp of the meat is reached remove from oven.
Our desired temp is 160-165 degrees
*Remove brisket from oven and let it rest for about 20 min to 1/2 hour
*Place on cutting board to cut to desired thickness.
